IP34 Rating
IP34 provides level 3 protection against solids and level 4 protection against liquids, as defined by IEC 60529.
3First digit: Solid protection
Protection against solid objects over 2.5 mm (e.g. tools, thick wires)
Test
2.5 mm diameter access probe
Probe must not penetrate the enclosure
4Second digit: Liquid protection
Protection against splashing water from any direction
Test method
Oscillating tube or spray nozzle
10 liters/min at 50-150 kPa for 5-10 minutes; enclosure tested from all sides
