IP33 Rating
IP33 provides level 3 protection against solids and level 3 protection against liquids, as defined by IEC 60529.
3First digit: Solid protection
Protection against solid objects over 2.5 mm (e.g. tools, thick wires)
Test
2.5 mm diameter access probe
Probe must not penetrate the enclosure
3Second digit: Liquid protection
Protection against spraying water at angles up to 60 degrees from vertical
Test method
Oscillating tube or spray nozzle
10 liters/min at 50-150 kPa for 5-10 minutes depending on surface area
