IP35 Rating
IP35 provides level 3 protection against solids and level 5 protection against liquids, as defined by IEC 60529.
3First digit: Solid protection
Protection against solid objects over 2.5 mm (e.g. tools, thick wires)
Test
2.5 mm diameter access probe
Probe must not penetrate the enclosure
5Second digit: Liquid protection
Protection against water jets (6.3 mm nozzle) from any direction
Test method
6.3 mm nozzle at 3 meters distance
12.5 liters/min at 30 kPa for 3+ minutes
