IP26 Rating
IP26 provides level 2 protection against solids and level 6 protection against liquids, as defined by IEC 60529.
2First digit: Solid protection
Protection against solid objects over 12.5 mm (e.g. fingers)
Test
12.5 mm diameter, 80 mm length jointed test finger
Jointed finger must not penetrate; adequate clearance from hazardous parts
6Second digit: Liquid protection
Protection against powerful water jets (12.5 mm nozzle) from any direction
Test method
12.5 mm nozzle at 3 meters distance
100 liters/min at 100 kPa for 3+ minutes
