IP19 Rating
IP19 provides level 1 protection against solids and level 9 protection against liquids, as defined by IEC 60529.
1First digit: Solid protection
Protection against solid objects over 50 mm (e.g. accidental hand contact)

50 mm diameter sphere
Sphere must not fully penetrate the enclosure
9Second digit: Liquid protection
Protection against high-pressure, high-temperature water jets and steam cleaning
Test method
EN 60529 / DIN 40050-9 (IPX9K)
80 degrees C water at 80-100 bar, 14-16 liters/min at close range (100-150 mm)
