IP11 Rating
IP11 provides level 1 protection against solids and level 1 protection against liquids, as defined by IEC 60529.
1First digit: Solid protection
Protection against solid objects over 50 mm (e.g. accidental hand contact)
Test
50 mm diameter sphere
Sphere must not fully penetrate the enclosure
1Second digit: Liquid protection
Protection against vertically falling water drops (condensation)
Test method
Drip box or oscillating tube
1 mm/min rainfall for 10 minutes
