IP31 Rating
IP31 provides level 3 protection against solids and level 1 protection against liquids, as defined by IEC 60529.
3First digit: Solid protection
Protection against solid objects over 2.5 mm (e.g. tools, thick wires)

1Second digit: Liquid protection
Protection against vertically falling water drops (condensation)
Test method
Drip box or oscillating tube
1 mm/min rainfall for 10 minutes
